Whether you need a refresher or you’ve never picked up knitting needles before, we’ve got you covered!
In this class we’ll be focusing on how to tie a slip knot, how to cast on (the foundation row), and the knit stitch. We will also touch on the purl stitch and how to cast off (take your project off your needles) so you can finish your project at home.
✨Choose Your Project - Washcloth, Scarf or Baby blanket
All supplies are included with your tuition fee to reduce beginner frustration from the wrong tools.
Class begins with each student choosing their desired project (pattern options listed above), their yarn color and the correct sized knitting needles.
Please Note:
• Students ages 7 to 15 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.
• Students ages 16 to 17 may participate without a parent.
Students will leave class with the knowledge to start knitting basic, rectangular patterns. Come with all your knitting questions and take home the confidence to begin knitting on your own.
