▸ Uniform shape is all one diameter from tip to tip. This makes it easiest to hold in the shower and exfoliate all the big areas of the body.

▸ Tapered shape has a point on one end, making it great for exfoliating around the nose and behind the ears and using the wide end for the larger areas of the body.

C A R E - I N S T R U C T I O N S

▸ Hang to dry between uses to extend the life of your organic loofah.

▸ Disinfect by soaking your loofah in a diluted vinegar solution for 15 minutes, then rinse with cool water. As with any bath sponge or washcloth product, pathogens and bacteria can grow in little crevices, so disinfecting between uses is highly recommended.

Other options include:

1. Soak the loofah for 10 minutes in a solution of 1/4 cup of liquid chlorine bleach to 1 gallon of hot water in a clean sink or bucket. Rinse thoroughly with running water.
2. Run your loofah through a hot dishwasher on the top rack with a load of dishes.
3. Wash your loofah in the washing machine on hot with your white clothes. Add bleach for extra disinfecting power. *do not put it in the dryer*
4. Microwave your thoroughly wet loofah on high for 1 - 3 minutes, until it starts to steam.
5. Let your loofah dry in the bright sun after washing for extra freshening power.
6. After every shower, be sure to rinse your loofah thoroughly and pour some white vinegar over it. Rinse the out the vinegar and store it outside of the shower so it can thoroughly dry between uses.
